Description
I have been waiting all winter for the Mountain Bluebirds to make their arrival for Spring. As I was driving along, I caught a glimpse of blue, quickly pulled over and found a spot to sit and wait them out. I first saw a couple, but the longer I sat, more would show up. I was so happy! As I was photographing a female as she hunted for grub, I could hear something behind me. I slowly turned around and saw this male singing his little heart out. Bringing my camera up slowly, pointed it at him and it wouldn't focus! What a time to have a malfunction, I was worried I was going to miss this shot, but it finally focused on him, with a little adjusting.
